WHERE AND WHEN IS THE WEDDING TAKING PLACE?

We are hosting our wedding ceremony and celebration in Punta Cana, Dominican at the Royalton Bavaro, All-Inclusive Resort & Spa. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, September 28th, 2025.

WHAT IS AN ALL INCLUSIVE RESORT?

The great part about an all inclusive resort is that everything is included! This means the price per person includes your room accommodations, meals and snacks, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, as well as majority activities and events. Please note, some activities and speciality restaurants may be an additional cost.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK OUR ACCOMMODATIONS?

The deadline to book your room accommodations and make a non-refundable deposit of $150 per room, is December 1st, 2024. This deposit goes towards your room's total cost. Your RSVP is not officially counted until your resort reservation is booked. You will receive additional information regarding the remaining balance which is due by July 2025.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK OUR FLIGHTS?

For flights, we recommend booking as soon as possible, or whenever there are great deals out.

DO I NEED A PASSPORT?

Yes! Traveling to Dominican Republic requires to have a valid passport. For those who need to purchase a passport, you can do so by visiting your local passport office or going online https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html for additional information. Processing time varies so it is best to apply at least 6 months before wedding date to ensure you receive it in time, in case of delays.

For those who currently have a passport, it should not expire 6 months AFTER travel! Even though your passport may be valid, the airline can deny you boarding if your passport expires, and unfortunately may not be able to receive a refund on your trip.

CAN I BRING A +1 GUEST?

We would love to be able to celebrate with our close family and friends, and do understand that some of you may want to bring an additional guest. We are not able to accommodate plus ones for everyone within the limitations of our venue.

I CANNOT ATTEND THE WEDDING BUT WOULD LOVE TO VIEW IT, ARE YOU STREAMING THIS?

We understand that you may not be able to make it in person, but will be there in our hearts and spirit! We will have the ceremony live streamed. The online platform is to be determined and will be sent out to those who need login information. Please note, as we will be out of the country, internet connections may be unstable at some moments. THE COUPLE IS REQUESTING AN UNPLUGGED CEREMONY, WHAT IS THIS?

We kindly ask for all guests to be present in the moment, therefore, our ceremony will be unplugged, meaning no phones, cameras, photos or videos during the ceremony. This is the same for guests who will stream the ceremony, we ask for no pictures to be taken.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

The dress code for our wedding is resort semi-formal.
